But it’s true!!! This is my third Shark. Called support and they said the only thing they can do is sell me a new head (with brush) which I refused since I just spent $350 on this new vacuum machine and I expect to get more than 2 uses out of it. I wish more companies would do follow suite. It is also slightly quieter than the 76 dB noise level that some other Shark models have. I was very impressed with the lights on the Shark vacuum. They do work as a canister, but the hose is a bit short and stiff making it somewhat awkward. It is much quieter than our old Dyson as well. Also, there are little 'extras' on this machine, like where the hose attaches to the back of the machine when it's in upright vac mode just kind of snaps in, and the cord can latch into the cord wrap area so that it doesn't get sucked in. I wanted her to give this a good try out since she’s used to that corded Dyson. The power of the unit and the extra suction really pulled the dirt out from even that low pile that should have been pretty clean already.
