In a parody of Peter and the Wolf, conductor Elmyra describes Buster, Babs, Plucky, Hamton, Sweetie and Furrball being pursued by a wolverine. Why Dizzy Can't Read: Dizzy is asked to read a lesson in school and he gets mad because he can't do it. This time, Elmyra's grandmother comes for a visit and also leaves to go on a vacation. Buster thinks that he has failed in putting together a stellar Christmas show for Acme Looniversity that he wishes that he was never born. "Buster's Guide to Goofing Off": Buster teaches how to procrastinate on your homework. "Paper Trained": While on his paper route, Buster demands subscription money from Montana Max. On the night of the fight, Hamton is sitting in Porky's prop class feeling sorry for himself, and Buster and Babs take his place in the ring. "Easy Biter": Hamton is annoyed by a mosquito who keeps trying to bite him. Plucky makes it even worse when he forces Hamton to have a boxing match with Max! When Hamton sees his friends get beaten up, he uses the power of his ancestors (and Porky's props) to get even with Max, who chickens out! The rest of this episode is action packed chaos as Buster and Babs go at it with the octopuses and the seagulls and seals get into the fray as well. They even ask Sappy Stanley, who has a clean alibi, but Buster and Babs know better. Buster and Babs Bunny turn a water fight into a white-water rafting trip through the dangerous Deep South; Plucky Duck and Hamton Pig share the most impossibly awful car journey imaginable on the way to HappyWorldLand; Fifi's blind date becomes a "skunknophobic" nightmare; and a safari park is turned upside-down by Elmyra's search for "cute little kitties to hug and squeeze".
